So if there is grey area then that would mean he should get off no? if they taught you to do something and you did it then how can you get in trouble? if they didnt specify
Proper choke protocol means that after one is restrained and no longer a threat, the type of choke needs to be released and ulterior measures implemented. Chauvin went against proper choke protocol after a certain time when Floyd was clearly unconscious.

The arguement being that the legal choke can easily result in injury or death and should not be allowed at all.
 
Yeah, I agree. Not quite sure what exactly the difference between the two murder charges. It's possibly a sentencing thing.

I guess it might be a way of separating cases like someone accidentally driving over a guy, from cases like Chauvin-Floyd, where you could argue that the level of carelessness towards human life is on an entirely another level. But even then it seems like the "third degree murder" charge covers that ground.
 
Justice won't be served until all the other cops with him are put into prison for life.

They'll get theirs. What's important is if it dissuades even one potential killer cop, that's another life saved. The verdicts are more important than the individual person.
