Saenchai has these type of performances occasionally and it's perfectly acceptable.

He's only fighting every month against much larger opponents who take the fight as their career main event with something to prove. Meanwhile it's just another fight for Saenchai and he probably doesn't know of the existence of most of his opponents until a few days prior.

Saenchai is obviously past his prime much like Saiyok but that said you have to give Ben Hodge complete credit for still beating Saiyok, the odds are still stacked on the legend.

That is my point with Peters, i am not stupid enough to think that he won and actually cannot believe people booed the decision, but he was not taken down (from memory) and nearly took the master down at one point, he did a lot better then the French bloke who got the decision, would love to have seen it over 5 rounds to be honest.

Saenchai did some kind of head toss in round 1.

It was a classic case of the underdog doing better than expected, and people thinking this means he should have won. It was a bit competitive in 1 and 3, but clear to see Saenchai was controlling the fight.

Yeah I'm not seeing how that fight was even close or that Saenchai looked ordinary......Saenchai was mostly in cruise control but he came out ahead on pretty much every exchange. Liam gave him a tougher fight.

There was all sorts posted on Facebook after about how Saenchai could easily have had decision go against him, this thread starter posted a video stating Saenchai wasn't the outright winner, but it says more about the lack of understanding of Muaythai scoring than anything else. Saenchai was clearly in control from start to finish, taking nothing away from Charlie as he did a lot better than most that fight Saenchai, but when you have a size advantage like he did you should be the one coming forward looking to wear down your smaller opponent. As it was it was Saenchai that pushed forward more backing up Charlie.

Hopefully someday people will try to learn something about this sport before commenting on it. Right now a good 95% of English speaking fans are pretty clueless.
