The DA's office for Bernalillio County will STACK the following charges against Jones
1. Aggivated DWI 2nd Offense
2. Hit and Run* can be upgraded to felony for different factors
3. Evading Law Enforcement
4. Possession of control substance
5. Possession of drug paraphernalia

Expect the Arrest Warrant to be forthcoming

Jone's will not be release on his own recognize once he is booked into MDC due to his prior record.
His bail will be substantial or no bail due to the fact he has been evading LOE, he will be considered a flight risk* unless he turns himself in before APD gets him
Conditions of release will be
No drugs or alcohol
Can't be in establishment that serve alcohol
No weapons possession
Can't leave Bernalillo County without the courts Permission
Must Have valid Drivers lic.
Will probably be ordered into Pre-trial Services- due to past convictions
Must obey all laws

If they upgrade any charges to a felony then his grand jury hearing will be with in 3 days of charges being submitted to District court

For everyone who is thinking this is not a big deal and Uncle Dana will save him hate to say it you are wrong. Jones is #cked. If you don't believe me google the name Johny Tapia a boxing hero here in ABQ and his ass was thrown into the Penitentiary.

Jon Jones/Jackson's draw a lot of water in that town. Everything will be fine.

He's rich and has powerful connections; he will be fine.

Greg and John are respect here in my city but they are not stupid nor have the kind of clout which you think they have. The gym has already began distancing themselves from the situation. If the DA's office threw the book at Kari Brandenburg (District Attorney for Bernalillo County) daughter for her DWI and now are sending her son to prison what makes you think Jon will get any kind of different treatment.

Driving under the influence of marijuana is a crime in New Mexico. This article explains the penalties imposed for DUI violations, but other laws regarding marijuana possession may also apply to drivers and passengers. Also, while New Mexico allows medical marijuana use under limited circumstances, it is still a crime to drive after such use if it renders the driver incapable of driving safely. (N.M. Stat. Ann.

1. Nearly impossible to prove that after the fact
3. wrong but nice try
2/4/5. Have to prove it was his car and he was the driving

Rampage Jackson went on a wild chase that ended in a crash, injured a pregnant woman, and did 200 hours of community service. Look I'm no lawyer but there is no way anyone should assume Jones is going to jail. They can't prove he was intoxicated because he wasn't there to be arrested or tested. Can they drug test him and retroactively charge him with DUI? I am not sure what the precedence is for that since weed can stay in your system for months. I smell a plea deal here, and the thing that is crazy about New Mexico law is that it seems to almost encourage people to flee the scene of an accident.

Hate to break it to you doesn't mean shit. Johnny Tapia was a multi millionaire sent to the pen. The Unser family same. Both families have strong ties and real connection here in NM and it didn't save them. And you throw in the fact that NM itself is a very closed state Jones is not from here and only has ties to Greg Jackson and John WinkelJohn gym. They are going to screw him mark my words

If Rampage can get away with his hit and run with the help zuffa's lawyers, I'm sure jon will get off lightly too

I'm not a legal expert but I once watched 5 minutes of an episode of Law & Order while waiting for the show I was watching to come back from commercials so I believe I'm qualified to comment on legal matters.

Conditions for release are typically special conditions that have to be specified (ie can't leave city limits), I don't believe 'obey laws' is a special condition that must be specified.

They have probable cause to charge for all that is listed. Read the police report and check the court records later today and see if I'm wrong. :icon_twis

Did Rampage have priors?

I guess it depends if his fingerprints are all over the car and pipe. He may have been smarter to get ride of the pipe and drugs instead of going for the money.

187 will still happen you guys are crazy to think he'll spend any real time in jail. Now should he? Of fuckin course.. But our system is so jacked up that it doesn't matter what these celebrities do they still get nothing but a slap on the wrist.

Do you know how much money will be funneled through Vegas on fight night? Trust me he'll be out..

Aggivated?

Yes Aggravated DWI- under NM law if you cause a accident under the influence that is what you will be charged with, also if you fail to provide a sample whether blood/urine/or breath will also be charged with aggravated DWI.
