Do you ever change your oil? Isn't it a great feeling? To see that new, honey colored oil. I use full synthetic. Does anyone love to change their oil? What brands of filter and oil do you like?

You have to be careful with your mechanic. They sometimes use the cheapest filters and oil known to man.

Are you the type that pays someone else to work on your vehicles because you are too beta to do it yourself? I work on my truck bike and do most of the work on my jetski.

Once you change your oil the first time, you realize there is nothing to it. Plus, the shops use the cheapest oil and filter ever, so easier and better to do it yourself, plus you save money and save your vehicle by making sure the best products are used.

I drive a Honda and don't feel like jacking my car up every time I need to change the oil. I just take it to Jiffy Lube

If I had a new car, I would probably just take it in and let them do it. Its not that much extra money. But, since I dont own a new car, I do it myself, always have...

I buy my own oil/filter and my mechanic charges me $15 to come to my house and changes it outside... I think Id rather pay him, seems simple but it looks like too much of a pain in the ass

I used to do that back in the day.

Felt good, but got to be a hassle.

Now I leave it to the pros.

I have ramps and do it myself in both my cars and motorcycle. I actually do all
My own maintenance except for timing belts/chains. I only use valvoline and fram for the oil stuff. Both American owned companies with products made in the USA.

And they have the in between rounds fram cam, o how I love the fram cam.

Save yourself some money and peace of mind by doing it yourself. I don't trust the dealership, Jiffy Lube, or anyone else for that matter. I use Royal Purple oil and filter, but will probably switch to Amsoil for my next oil change.
