Now I do not know how you all feel about it but I seen enough TUF so that i just no longer watch the episodes but fast forward to fights.

So it got me thinking perhaps instead of 12 episode drama they are better off squezing it into 6 or so. Initial fight 2 hour episode stays and the house drama + 2 fights per episode.

If there is no let me bang bro moments happening then have 3 fights in a single episode.

Prolly wont happen but your thoughts?
I am not really interested in listening how each fighter has a gameplan and they never end up listening to what coaches say anyway so who cares!!

from what i understand, the series they are doing in japan with JTJ will feature fighters in their own gyms, with their own coaching staff. i like that idea a lot more than having all the fighters under one roof and training with the coaches and training staff the show has selected.

apparently, they will be doing background on the fighters at home as well. it would be nice to get to know the fighters in their normal environment rather than the unusual circumstances of living together under one roof.

for me, that format is a lot more interesting than "house drama" and i could watch that with just one fight per episode without finding it tedious to watch.

watching this format every week is very tedious.

the shows current format (introduced by TUF 17 is heavily dependant on personalities. and TUF 19 had a LOT of bland personalities. even TUF 18 was pretty short on that aspect but they had men AND women which made it worth tuning into.

For me the new format is great with interesting coaches/personalities. But TUF 19 didn't have it.

this format gets old real quick when its EVERY episode

when it is bland personalities oh my god that format is stale as fuck FAST

They really need better fighters. Also start using some of those retired fighters that can still draw viewers as coaches so your not holding up titles as well.

The latest crops of contestants have been trash.

Wait, are you suggesting the casts of TUF Brazil 3, TUF 18, TUF 17, and TUF Nations were trash?

go jump off a bridge.

I like either using retired fighters. Or like the japanese series showing fighters at their own gyms. Get rid of the dumbass house.
