    timestamped.

Wants to be co-main against gaethje or Tony ferguson. Also willing to be backup for Mcgregor or dustin if one of them falls out. This man and being a backup. Dude, don't let the UFC walk all over you. pretty sure, they'll start expecting that shit.

After 1 fight everyone will know he’s a fraud, so yeah good gameplan.
Get paid the most and get the most exposure with that fight.

Is he planning on being a career back up from this point forward?

Anytime this guy talks its about how much of a warrior he is, and now he's just playing backup to try and get a khabib or conor fight when he's finally in the UFC?

    Come on....

Being back up for a Mcgregor fight is huge, Dustin is more likely than Mcgregor to pull so if he does chandler gets a much bigger fight and pay day, also in Dana’s good books(Usman did it and got a title shot)

I would replace Chandler with DoBronx but even so it wouldn't be the worse idea ever. It might very well be what's happening in the end.

Its weird how Chandler is getting so many big opportunities. It would be one thing if he was this undefeated champion. Does beating Ben Henderson in 2020 really mean that much?

He hasn't gotten anything solid yet. The UFC must see him as a marketable guy and he does have somewhat of a name among hardcore fans. I don't like it that he is seemingly leapfrogging a lot of guys but he is fighting in the same division as Conor so by comparison Chandler more than deserves whatever comes his way.

I don't get why people here are hating on him for wanting to be a title fight replacement. I'm sure he knows the UFC won't give him the shot without fighting someone else in the UFC first so it's not a bad strategy. I don't mind this idea although I think Tony should take it easy for his return fight and fight someone like Hooker (I know not easy but comparatively.)

I wonder if he knows something we don't... Also, having two training camps without a fight has it's drawbacks. I wonder how this all plays out.

He gets paid to train and make weight. You absolutely sign up for that if you have the opportunity.
