But different weight classes champions,
for example lhw vs mw champion,or hw vs lhw chapion ..
This is propably the most interesting matchup that can be made.
Are there such examples in recent events , were there any ?

BJ Penn is probably the closest you can come to this. Also Randy Couture.

frankie edgar vs jose aldo....a lot of ppl thought edgar beat henderson and was the rightful 155 champ

It's nice for the fans when this happens but isn't it bad for the UFC since one of there stars has to lose to the other champ? I'm not really too sure if it kills any drawing power of either guy? Like lets say they did GSP vs Anderson and GSP beat Anderson, would that kill the drawing power and "mystique" Anderson had?

Unless a guy like BJ comes along again who wants to fight the guy in the weight class above him it's not happening. Only lower division champion who even seems interested is Chris Wiedman.

UFC 101: Declaration

Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin (lol)

(Forrest's last fight before facing Anderson was his title defense against Rashad)

No. The UFC, along with all fightsports, is about the biggest possible fight in the here and now in perpetuity. They always want to make the most money they can now, bottom line.

BJ Penn is the best example of this sort of issue...it did nothing to hurt his popularity losing to GSP, people just loved him more for having the cajones to seek out the biggest fight.

This isn't an issue for the UFC, the reason these fights don't happen is simply because champions don't want to move up in weight class. Safety first these days.

There are only two that I can think of that are currently champions or interim who seem very hungry to fight the weight class above them, Weidman, and I hate to say it, but Connor.
