He said on UFC Tonight that both him and Vitor are MWs and the only reason the fight is at 205 is because they don't have a lot of time until the fight. He says he considers this fight a catchweight.

The dude could of just sat back and mercilessly verbally demolished Wand until his vocal chords were raw.

But he chose to be a man about it and accepted a fight with an even bigger threat. So yeah, I'm giving him a pass on the whole mw/lhw thing for the next shot at the Chris. /lyoto winner.

Win lose or draw Chael is a winner in this. He stepped up big time and took a fight against Vitor who is a killer on short notice. I really hate that Chael moved up to LHW, he is a MW beast.

I thought this was pretty easy to figure out. The fight is like 2 months away and both guys are big MWs. I have no problem with them getting a title shot after the fight.

It's not like any of them has an habit of missing weight

Agree. Why people are complaining it's at LHW is beyond me. Plus, why would we want to see 2 fighters cut weight on short notice and gas . A LHW fight will be more exciting- there's no advantage, it's a mutual for both fighters.

205 seems fine to me, as long as they fight
