Chael definitely rehearsed some lines but he also came off the cuff with comebacks he couldn't have rehearsed tons of times. You are selling him short by trying to put him in this box.

He's one of the best trash talkers of all time. It's a shame he hasn't had a run in pro wrestling because he could work a mic better than anyone since The Rock

I think he’s the greatest trash talker in mma history. Ali is the greatest of all time..

Good trash talker, no wit though, wit is off the cuff, in the moment, chael was just pre scripted insults/responses.
