I believe I recall what you are talking about, I don't think it was that the corner isn't allowed that it's just one person who is allowed. Pretty sure it was after the Fury-Wilder fight.

just look at who chaels talking about though....roufus is known for this terrible behavior....while cornering an amateur kickboxer, he allowed the fight to continue, even though there was something obviously wrong with his fighter...the guy was staggering around the ring, could barely stand, could barely sit up in the corner between rounds, yet that ''''''hole, sent him back out there and the guy died.....roufus should be banned from all combat sports.
