This is actually a pretty intriguing fight. The winner may be knocking on that door for title contention.

Chael brings up some interesting variables here.

Stephens has the pedigree and background of experience, for sure. Dude has fought everyone at one point or another. Chael wonders whether all that experience may have dulled the fire within, at this stage of his career.

But Emmett is sort of an unknown. Prior to him flat-lining Lamas, not too many people really knew about him. Sonnen thinks that he may perhaps be hungrier, as an up and coming prospect.

Thoughts?

So they're both dangerous?

I thought Emmett looked very impressive against Lamas. Even before the KO he looked really sharp.

All I know is someone is getting KTFO and there will be lots of blood!

Seriously though, Emmett/Lamas was one of the most brutal KO’s from last year.

This. Hopefully Yamasaki is the ref so the blood gods can be sated.

UberChael is back!
I pick Jeremy in this fight.
Still impresses me that this dude makes 145 lbs.

Emmet has looked pretty solid in the UFC, his only loss coming to Desmond Green, a former WSOF Champion. Still leaning towards Stephens, based on his vast experience, but I anticipate a close match.

Hopefully Emmet doesn't have trouble making weight. Thought fight to pick, but I'm going with Emmet.

Josh Emmet is a monster. I'm betting on him.

As long as Jeremy takes this guy seriously I think he reminds us he is world class.
