He says he will run for governor eventually.

He hasn't talked about his politics in a long time - it seemed like he had political ambitions when he was younger but lost interest when his MMA career took off.

Last I remember him talking politics was with Rogan in 2016 when he was supporting Trump.

Time stamped:

Isn’t he a convicted felon?

Edit: Guilty of federal money laundering. I would have thought that would disallow someone to serve in public office
On the plus side he is funny, when he talks about Tito.

It definitely should. We have issues with our senators taking bribes from lobbyist and big pharma.

Bro, it’s almost a prerequisite of running for office…

Look, the guy is from the mean streets of West Linn. He's paid his dues and overcome adversity. He just wants to give back to his community, and you guys are goofing on him. Sad!

Yea, he was running for something else I think and it was around the same time that came up. I think that put his political career to rest but maybe he saw Santos and thought the voters are dumb and/ or terrible so it might still work. Tbf, I don’t think Santos will win re-election now that the info has come out about him.
