Mendes actually seems like a decent dude, but he's so roided up I'm not too interested in seeing him fight again. I know the "eye test" isn't 100%, but this guy is 5'6 and as wide as a Mack truck. No amount of testing would ever convince me he's clean.

He's pretty active on youtube still and despite what Sherdog says he still looks jacked and in great shape.
No word on his return.

And so did Ortega. But they both served the sentence and they are/will be re-tested. So when his next fight, he will not be roided (or on the same level as all of the "clean fighters", if there is such a thing).

He's stated multiple times that he's excited to get back into the sport, and has actively been training.
He's one of my favorite fighters, and his second fight with Aldo was one of the big fights to get me into MMA, so I'd like to see him back.
