Chad Mendes confirms report he tested positive due to skin cream for plaque psoriasis

If that's true that sucks. I have psoriasis and honestly its a miserable thing; hard to find anything that works even a little

GHRP-6 is not even close to HGH. You have no idea what you're talking about. That shit video you posted doesn't state GHRP-6 is on HGH's level.

HGH will make your skull/organs/feet/hands all grow. Nothing is close to it, GHRP-6 is equivalent to creatine compared to HGH.

Peptides tell your pituitary to release a shit load of GH. It's exactly like taking synthetic GH at moderate doses.

Dudes get suspended four games in the NFL and 2 years in mma. They need a union badly.

Interesting. Wasn't his failed test a random test? Do they have you fill out a questionaire for a random test?

Edit: I'm not arguing, I'm just trying to understand the process.
Yes, they're suppose to disclose any medications, treatments, etc. they're taking.

he's taking it like a man and not using ignorance as a reason he should get out of it at least

at the end he says "alright i broke the rules"

I think rather than "confirms report" it should be

Chad Mendes CLAIMS positive due to skin cream.

If it was a genuine story, first, he had to get hold of a cream that seemingly isnt available in the US, and secondly, if it was genuinely medically prescribed then he almost certainly would have got a reduction in his sentance if hed been able to prove the medical history etc. He didnt.

Why would he get a reduced suspension if GHRP-6 is a listed ingredient and he doesn't have a TUE for GHRP-6?

Lance Armstrong tested positive and his cheating doctors found a cream that would give the same result and they claimed he was using this crèam for saddle sores.

He had not asked for a TUE for this cream. So after he was caught and they used this as an excuse his cheating doctors colluded with the corrupt cycling federation execs and they gave him a post-dated TUE. So no violation!

Perhaps Chad should fill a couple of envelopes with cash and have his people get them to the right people. Viola, a post-dated TUE and no suspension!

So he uses his skin cream on his head?

It can pop up anywhere on the body at any given time.

For example from the time i was like 5 to 19 it was only on my scalp and eyebrows, after 19 i developed patches on my elbows but only during the fall/winter and they go away during the summer probably something to do with reduced sunlight in winter and the stresses of school, and finally now a few years later a small patch popped up on the side of my cheek which only goes away if i tan a lot (sun/uv radiation kills this shit).

I could take injections or try creams but they all fuck with your immune system or you skin so i just live with it and make sure to get some sun if it gets real bad.

This has been my thought all along for years. Identify a product that has something that would cause a positive drug test (ie DHEA - it won't do shit, but will likely cause a positive test), and use that as your fall back excuse. McGwire pulled that off years ago, and all those useless sports reporters who knew nothing, attributed McGwire's muscles to some shitty DHEA. Its so simple and I have no doubt that is the strategy being used today.

Ehhhhhh. McGwire originally claimed it was androdenestione, which was legal and readily available at any supplement store back then. Since then it's been outlawed. The vast majority of worthwhile pro-hormones were made illegal in the Prohormone Act of 2014.

sounds like bullshit.. show me the prescription

You fill out a questionnaire with every test. its part of the doping control form. list any medications, supplements etc.

had he put it as a medication then, then first of all his initial suspension would have been days later, and like Machida etc it would have been because of "declaring use of prohibited substance"

second, if he had put it as medication then that would have furthered his claim to try and get a reduction from usada on the grounds he was prescribed it medically

He could be telling the truth but I don't believe him simply because he was someone I looked at and saw his physique and thought he's taking something illegal. Sometimes it's just not a surprise when someone gets busted and you think damn, it took long enough.

I totally believe you Chad.

I imagine that there is a prescription from the specialist who prescribed the cream which proves your innocence and his/her incompetence, but where is it now.. oh yeah it doesn't exist.

My bad - you're right. I mixed up the DHEA with the Andro. Andro still was between useless and possibly slightly better than useless as far as results go. There were other prohormones that were decent, but Andro wasn't one of them. We all know McGwire didn't do Andro to look like he did.

I knew he was a drug cheat when Conor said to Chads after their fight, "you are a legend for taking the fight, Juicehead Aldo went running". The word Juicehead made Mendes laugh nervously, that was the moment it dawned on me that he was on steroids.

2 years of his prime gone because of a cream, these fighters really need to do their due dilligence.

Yea I always buy cream with HGH for my skin to..... He juiced and is coving it with a shitty excuse

Gotcha. Sounds like the psoriasis cream deal is likely not be the truth, then.

because even despite a tue, if he had a valid prescription and had noted it on his pre fight questionnaire there is at least bargaining room...

if you look at current cases, Mendes positive was announced 10th June, by the 20th July, a little over a month he was banned for two years...

Romero's case was haggled about for four months, Means four months..

If he genuinely had a medical need, prescription etc, I would have at least expected bargaining to go on longer than a month
