Cerrone vs Magny?

Skill wise, Cerrone might be one of the few bad match-ups for Magny that are left, but Magny would certainly have a size advantage and the dude is a lot stronger than what his frame would suggest. Then again Cerrone didn't have much trouble with Coté.

Magny would beat the shit out of cowboy. Might make him tap to strikes too.
 
This fight makes sense for Cerrone but not so much for Magny. Magny should be looking for a higher ranked opponent. There is a reason that he was calling out Condit.

Regardless, it has the potential to be a very entertaining fight. I like it.

Magny vs Cerrone makes the most sense to me right now. If Magny beat up Cowboy he'd be right there in conversation of a title shot. Same for Cerrone possibly.

I think that the division is way to stacked at the top right now for Magny to jump to the front of the line with a win over Cerrone. He is right to be asking for Condit. That would be his path to a title shot. He won't be looking to fight people ranked lower than him IMO.
 
It sounds like a good match to watch. Ceronne fights often enough, we don't have to be too picky about his next opponents. That's what I love about him.

But if other fighters get booked it could make a lot more sense.
 
Magny has earned a shot at a Top 5 WW. He'll lose, but after that, if Cerrone wins his next one, that fight will make sense.
