I was just checking the latest episode of The Notorious and around the end there's a scene in a locker room where the fighters are dressing up for the post fight press conference. McGregor is putting on his ivory suit next to Cerrone and Cerrone's reaction was priceless.

"Weeeell... I don't have a suit."... throws his handwraps in his bag, ".. but I got beer."

I don't know why but this really cracked me up. I think Cerrone is one of those guys who really are the what you see is what you get type of person. Now I was wondering, which fighters are the same? Fighters you're a fan off, not particulary for their skills, but more because of their personality.

I have Cerrone (also his fighting style is awesome), Connor (I can't deny, it's over the top sometimes but he does bring something new to the roster), Werdum and Overeem (after watching The Reem).

Guys like Dan Henderson and Robbie Lawler are fun,cos you can tell them their gonna fight Cain velasquez on one days notice with a pay increase and its like "Ok." They dont get bothered by much, Its a fight. They know fighting,so there is nothing to worry about. That is scary shit dealing with a guy like that.

Would be awesome if a documentary crew had been following Cowboy around for the last year. All those fights and all the other crazy shit he does in between. Would have made for a hell of a movie.

for sure!

I like Cerrone he's very real, add Rampage too as being one of what you see is what you get fellas.

Does anyone remember Bas ruttens story about how he was drunk and talking to rampage on his birthday, discussing an old fight and when bas got overzealous in describing the fight and punched rampage right in the face. Bas said he accidentally hit him very hard, and rampage just kept looking at him to continue the story, like nothing happened. hahahahaha!

Yep Rampage seems indeed like that type. He also had like a television show about his life, right? But I'm not a fan, I'm not a big fan of his personality.

I'd much rather have Cerrone as a buddy then Conor

Can't remember asking 'who of these two fighter would you like to have as buddy?' in the OP.

Its a draw, hideous Good Humor ICe cream man suit vs. cheap bad beer.

I guess they don't have labor day in Ireland?

Krazy Horse 'cause he was a Krazy Mu'fucka in and out of the ring.

I saw an interview with Lawler, can't remember where, but he was talking about how when he trains he doesn't spar. When asked about that he said that he doesn't spar and get hit in training because he "knows how to fight." That was a real eye opener and possibly why his career has been extended.

I remember this interview. I dont think this approach would work with everyone, but it works for him.

This guy seems genuine. What you see is what you get.
