He is just too much for Al
Because I told you so
Yeah, Al didnt fight the way he should have against Cowboy. The way fighters have beaten Cerrone was by using pressure which Al is known for, where was it? Then Cowboy is known for being unable to take body shots well, Al didnt do any body work whatsoever. He was never in the fight. He did great and imposed his will against a more youthful quicker Kevin Lee but got beat up by an aging Donald Cerrone. Cowboy fought great Al fought like shit. Das it
With that size unadvantage its hard to pressure against Cowboy
Whenever someone says that just because a fight went all the way doesn't mean it was boring you can count on this one.
Cowboys Jab was exceptional tonight. He usually has a solid jab but will throw lots of combos with it. He stuck to that jab and leg kicks, mixing up with some front kicks and combos. Cowboy showed his experience tonight.
Al should develop some foot work. Wouldnt hurt to not be a stationary target
I agree. He really showed the weakness in the Khabib fight. Eating 5 jabs in a row with no head movement or footwork
