Health advice @8:30

An hour of daily strenuous exercise, steak every night, and plenty of gaming are the keys to longevity. They also advise to be a good person to get along in the world and appreciate life.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but a lot of their advice is akin to the people who use gear.

You want to live to 100+? Find a way to make your DNA top of the line for longevity and resistant to damage. Whether that's supplements, therapies, hyperbaric chamber (HBOT) procedures, some new age exercise, etc.

Some of those therapies are coming. We can do epigenetic rejuvenation. There's now proof in mice/rats you can reverse cell age to its pluripotent state without triggering cancer. We can also do thymic rejuvenation which seems to improve health(TRIIM-/X).

All of that is meaningless and worthless until scientists finally create a method to halt or reverse aging. Until then, we are all gonna die with or without diseases.

I think we all can live longer with diet, exercise, and reducing stress as much as we can. But to be the kind of guy who lives for 65 years versus 90 years... It's genetic. I probably should quit being a heavy powerlifter at some point and be one of those old fit guys with abs if I wanna live longer. My family tree have a history of stroke and heart attack.
