Henry Cejudo is certain that Jon Jones will stop Gane within three rounds.

Henry Cejudo confident Jon Jones will stop Ciryl Gane: 'I don't think this fight goes past three rounds'

Although it will have been more than three years since Jones last competed, Cejudo says he has all the tools to become the first man to stop former interim champion Gane.

“I do believe in my wholehearted heart that Jon Jones is not only going to beat Ciryl Gane, but he’s going to either submit him, or he’s going to stop him,” Cejudo said on his YouTube channel. “I don’t think this fight goes past three rounds.”

Cejudo also thinks this will cement Jones' legacy as P4P GOAT, if he stops Gane. Henry notes that Jones' "unblemished" record also contributes to his legacy.

If Jones does finish Gane, Cejudo thinks there should be no debate that he’s the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter over UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

“I believe he beats Ciryl Gane, he’s in the top three, maybe top two,” Cejudo said. “If he stops Ciryl Gane, Jon Jones should and will always remain ranked No. 1. Why do I say that? Because of his resume.

“He’s unblemished. Look what he’s done in combat sports. He’s going to go up to the heaviest division in the UFC, which is the heavyweight division, and now reclaim the biggest and nastiest title of them all.”

Fighters can break down fights but they're usually shit at predicting fights. Gane beats Jones imo, especially this Jones.

Possible. If Jones comes in physically strong with his wrestling dialed in his hellbows are probably even nastier now with more meat to put behind them. Lot of uncertainties surround how Jon will look, but him being able to find top position likely leads to some pain for Gane.

Why does he say unblemished? Matt Hamill beat him fair and square. If Aljo can win a title with his Oscar winning performance I don't understand why Hamill keeps getting slighted. He wasn't acting and he couldn't continue. Those 12-6 elbows busted him wide open. As far as Cejudo's prediction, I disagree. I see this fight going one of three ways. I see Gane winning, I see Jon Jones winning but getting caught by USADA or I see Jones winning but finding a way to beat the PED testing.

Jones by hellbows round 3.

jones haters are mentally unwell. unblemished. was jones losing like aljo was? nope.

I thinks Jones takes this. Should be a good fight but Jones has better stand-up and this fight does not go to the ground for any length of time. Jones has his share of haters, but the guy has incredible fight IQ. He coasted a bit towards the end of his last reign. I expect him to come motivated for this fight and win a close decision.

Just wish Henry would fight with his limbs & not be the lip fighting champion he has become. He's still a top level fighter, but he just seems to be wasting his talent against the clock.

People have to accept what the professionals decide. They fought and Hamill won. Jon Jones has one loss. That's it and that's all!
