1. No one wants to see him fight MM again, and he probably will lose, making MM champ again. Then we repeat the cycle of MM vs. Borg, then Benevidez, then Tim Elliott, then his brother Fred Elliott, etc.

2. The big $$$ boat of MM vs. TJ, just sailed away. Cejudo has that chance now, but better take it fast. Ask for $2 million and settle for $1 + PPV points. High chance he'll lose to TJ, but will make $$$ for a spectacle fight. Better than losing to MM and then no chance for a big $$$ fight.

3. He's struggling to make 125 anyway and will most likely lose the 125 belt pretty soon. If he lose the belt and goes to 135, he needs to beat a bunch of killer midgets his size or a little bigger, before any talks vs. TJ for big $$$.

4. Midget wrestling only attracts a certain few with such a fetish. Most other people will pay to watch it only about once a year.

He wont get a superfight nobody really cares yeah mm has nobody to fight but rematches.. He needs to do something else or join a diff org then come back when new fighters arrive

It was an awesome business move, I don't care to see Cejudo vs anyone except MM at 125.

Cejudo easily fills out to fight at bantamweight, he’s a huge 125er and likely huge at 135 as well...

Correct me if I’m wrong @sonofjay817

Good move, who else is he going to call out? better to ride the conversation that is already going about MM vs TJ now that DJ is out of the question.

It is a great business move, if Cejudo beats TJ it would be a way to break out of MM's shadow because he is challenging himself. Borg is the Requel Pennington of 125. TJ is a real threat

Wow... did MM miss the biggest pay day of his life by ducking TJ.

They’ll never give cejudo to tj, especially when there’s legit contenders in bantamweight already:

TJ vs moraes and mm to take back his belt next.

bobblehead frank shamrock making good career moves. Even if he doesnt fight TJ, its showing hes open to higher weight challenges. Hes luck he can dodge a MM rematch due to MMs injury and take other fights citing wanting to be an active champ. Lots of low risk high reward moves he can pull here. He should really just start publicly fucking with TJ and working his social media into drawing intrest on a TJ fight. Different times nowadays and people like Colby showing how fast a mouth can move you up in the game.

It ain't really a super fight until he defends the belt at least 2\ times imo

This.

No one wants to see MM as champ again, as he is rating AIDS, notnto mention one of the most difficult and boring champs, from a company perspective, in the history of the UFC. He was given Conor on his undercard, he was given FOX headliners, he was given a whole TUF tournament, but he never scratched the UFC's back in return, they have been itching to get him out of there and to find a real company man that will work with them.

Cejudo is a serious star in waiting and brings the whole Mexican market with him, so I fully expect UFC to do all that they can to keep him as a title holder. Lets just hope he does not run out of gas if they give him a main event in Mexico City, Mexico. <45>

Dana showed no interest in Cejudo vs TJ, he seemed to shoot it down at the press conference. If they weren't paying DJ above his contract to fight TJ no chance they're offering Cejudo more. The rubber match will have the most interest of any FLW fight they've ever had, far more than Cejudo fighting Pettis or Benevidez.

If Demetrious Johson is in the midget division, then Dillashaw is in the midget-plus division.
