Cejudo just got the belt AND is going to do what MM refused to do for 5 years

Move Cejudo up to fight for the BW title. Eliminate the Fly division. There is insufficient interest.
 
Don’t care what the 25 fans say, the division was not prosperous at all. DJ is a thug at that weight but there is a reason it doesn’t sell. Fighters are just kid size. At least with 35 you have short stalky guys that could hold their own on the streets. Having Cejudo fight the winner tonight will kill the division and have MM move up to 35 where he just a top 10 guy.

This will ultimately be a move great for the ufc and the flyweight should have never existed anyways. Leave those tiny weight classes overseas because it doesn’t work with this market

MM could've gotten the rematch if he said something smart at the post-fight interview, but instead he says the typical 'going back home blablabla' stuff. If he said that he's going for a rubber match and that he's going to defeat Cejudo again or something, they could've made the rematch. But he didn't so Dana 's going to let MM fight his way up again.

This. It's not even a superfight. That's not him having balls, that's him being entitled. Defend your damn title at least once. It's not even like the guy's a draw.
 
Tonight Henry Cejudo won a fight over Demetrious Johnson that many people would say Johnson actually won and the belt was stolen from him by poor judging.

Many people could be rightfully making the claim that Mighty Mouse deserves an immediate rematch for 2 reasons, one is because it was a bad call from the judges and number 2 is because he was the undisputed champ for so long.

Well, Henry ended that talk quickly by calling out the BW champ for a fight at BW.

First, Henry punked MM by actually asking for a fight above his weight class when MM had been clamoring for a “money fight” against Dillashaw or Garbrandt at his FW weight. Even when it was accepted he chose not to fight them, choosing to duck them instead. Henry won the belt and immediately called for a super fight against whoever was BW champion, a weight class above his own. I think Cejudo lost tonight and would lose in the Rubber Match, so calling out the BW champ so his next fight wouldn’t be with Mighty Mouse was a brilliant plan. He looks like he has guts made it look like Mighty Mouse didn’t and protected his new belt at the same time.

Secondly, by calling for a super fight at a higher weightclass against an opponent he’s never faced will most likely happen denying MM the immediate rematch he would have most likely gotten and won, reclaiming his belt. Most fans would rather see Cejudo fight Dillashaw for the first time at BW than Cejudo fight Mighty Mouse for the 3rd time.

I agree with almost everything except MM winning. I think Cejudo got the rightful nod.

Either way, props to Cejudo for taking it to DJ and squeezing out the win.
 
Let’s see what Cejudo has to offer. He will soon realize trying to please the fans is futile.

If anybody ever deserved an immediate rematch it is MM after that razor thin decision.
