Let me start this by saying that cejudo got robbed big time in the benavidez fight. Absolute garbage judging.

Props to MM for finishing Cejudo in the first fight.. the only time I ever seen the bar clap for MM because he was the only finish on a rather boring card that night iirc. Same card as Jones OSP

Great knee to the midsection by MM, but cejudo was a little green at this time imo. He has improved a ton, looks faster, crisper, improved fight IQ and more power. I mean cejudo might lose a decision but he won't get finished by MM. Im actually looking forward to this rematch more than I should cause I think the division is boring but if the same cejudo who fought benavidez and ries and Pettis shows up then MM is in for a long night.

Dillashaw fight would of been cool but I think Cejudo deserves the rematch and I think Cejudo outworks MM everywhere in this rematch. Cejudo bless.

If Cejudo does win, then there will be an immediate 3rd match and MM will win; no way MM gets beat by the same guy twice.

I think Cejduo can beat him twice tbh. I don't think the first fight really showed us much. MM would be deserving of a rematch though. Another thing I can see playing into cejudos advantage is MM being complacent as the champ and not giving cejudo any respect.. kind of like Rockhold Bisping 2. Cejudo is going to come into this fight with that fire. Im feeling the Cejudo win here. Hes looking super impressive lately

Does it count if nobody is there to see it?

It was crazy when Tim Elliot almost submitted him.

Talk is cheap. You know the drill: show us your betting slips.

Here are the current odds for this fight: https://www.bestfightodds.com/fighters/Henry-Cejudo-4438

On average +459 Cejudo, -500 for MM. If you truly believe in what you're saying, this is a fucking steal, and you'd be stupid to not bet significant money on it, not to mention the added bonus of looking Nostradamus as fuck on Sherdog while making some real cash.

If you respond with excuses on why you don't bet then we all know you're just lying and don't believe in Cejudo's chances.

Is this how bad its gotten at 125? People have to delude themselves into thinking the next guy has a chance against MM, when he's already lost to MM 3 fights ago...{<doc}{<jordan}

I certainly hope so, 125 is dead in the water as long as MM has no real challengers...shit even if Cejudo does manage to win I doubt many people will care.

So you're saying that everyone who's ever been confident in a pick should also be willing to wager money on untrustworthy internet betting sites?

That being said, TS, I don't agree.

If you really believe that then the ufc done a number on you with their hype job promotional skills.

This fight is a forgone conclusion and worthless like all the others aside from the only fight that was interesting- tj

Bro while i appreciate the enthusiasm over Cejudo (i thought the benavidez fight was a draw), just because he developed a looser striking ability albeit better standup overall, cejudo's textbook wrestling didn't even work, put MM done and he got up within seconds. MM angles are just too varied and mixed. I only think u will see a more competitive fight but still a more lopsided win again (how does that make sense lmao) for MM

Probably not though

Untrustworthy? There're several established betting sites in the US, Canada and UK which are 100% legit, and I'm sure that's the case with many other countries. If you know you can make 659% profit off any investment based on a certain fight outcome, and you are confident the outcome will occur, why wouldn't you make that investment? You'd either have to be stupid or lying about your confidence in the outcome to pass up that golden opportunity.

Has a defending champion who defends against someone, then rematches them upon the same title reign ever lost?

I think that method of thinking is ridiculous personally. Betting is rarely designed to be in your favor, either the guy who has a chance at a big pay off is over matched, or you have to drop a ton of cash to see any sort of return on a big favorite. So you're either in the high percentage chance to lose your bet, or aren't going to make any money anyways and risk a wild punch dropping a big investment on a favorite. If it was a heads up bet maybe i'd be inclined to subscribe a little more to put your money where your mouth is, otherwise odds betting is generally stupid unless the bookie screwed up big time.

And the only guys who are gonna watch it are a few Sherdoggers

Definitely plausible. Mystic Lockard has already predicted that he will lose one of his next two fights and Cejudo could be the one. I doubt it, though - I believe he beats him and then goes on to face off against the winner of TJ/Cody later in the year, which I predict will be Cody. I believe Garbrandt is bringing home two belts at the end of the year.

Honestly I agree with TS. Not convinced whether Cejudo will win or not, but this is going to be an entirely different fight than the first.
