"This dangerous attempt to turn back the wheel of history will undo the fruits of decadeslong China-U.S. cooperation, dampen American's own development prospects, and put world stability and prosperity in jeopardy,” Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Sunday in a video news conference on the sidelines of the annual session of China's National People's Congress.

OPM hack, Equifax hack, embedding moles in US laboratories, censoring people from talking about the Chinese virus while allowing people to travel from China to other countries... This "decadeslong cooperation" is a joke. The US ought to put the screws to these nihilists.

The Wuhan-Virus should be the straw that broke the camel's back. Enough with this fuckery, it's time to implement an embargo on that dictatorship.
Nowdays China is more of an economical threat than Russia and only they are on sanctions while the real communists get a pass.

Back in the day people thought China's access to world markets and inclusion in the WTO would make them liberalize politically. Of course that didn't turn out to be true, now they're just richer hegemonic totalitarians.

Good. Every country should be diversifying their supply chain and undermining the CCP every chance they get. Japan has set aside several billion to shift production out of China, boris Johnson is taking steps to end their reliance on China for all strategic imports, US should do the same. And all Chinese state-owned businesses can GTFO too.

Yep. I thought it would. If anything, it has helped deliberalize our own societies.

Dreams of putting the genie back into the bottle are just dreams.

The US may convince other nations to avoid Huawei, but they won't stop the overall trend.

The Equifax hack should've been the straw that broke the camel's back. Could you imagine the outrage from the left if Russia had stolen names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, and addresses of more than a third of the US?

It starts with you mofos, stop buying their shit.

Trump needs to stop fucking around and go hard with sanctions against those commie scum.

If a war does happen it will be one that they have called on.

Nein nein nein!

Germany, Australia and the US are openly critical of this regime. Time's up for the CCP whether you like it or not. The global economy and manufacturing sector will see a revamping in the next few years I believe. No, that doesn't mean all manufacturing will come back home, wherever that may be, but China will be neutered and lose influence.

Fuck em

Yep to think some corportatist during the mid Bush years and Obama years actually advocated a group 2 relationship.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_of_Two

The Group of Two (G-2 or G2) is a proposed informal special relationship between the People's Republic of China and the United States of America. Originally initiated in 2005 by C. Fred Bergsten as primarily an economic relationship, it began to gain wider currency and scope from foreign policy experts as a term recognizing the centrality of the Sino-American relations near the beginning of the Obama Administration. Prominent advocates include former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, historian Niall Ferguson, former World Bank President Robert Zoellick and former chief economist Justin Yifu Lin.

Former President Barack Obama and former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been very supportive of good relations between the two countries and more cooperation on more issues more often. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has stated that U.S.–China relationship to be "taken to a new level". Some experts have disagreed with the effectiveness of a G-2.[8] However, Clinton has said that there is no G-2.[9]

And we should treat them as such.
