I just have a quick question about cauliflower ear,

I just noticed today that my left ear has swollen up, and when I look at my right and in the mirror and then look at my right I totally notice a huge difference,

My question is will my left ear stay like this, Or only untill I drain it..

Every day is repost day.

The swelling will go down if you do not drain it, but it will not be back to normal. Drainage will significantly reduce the swelling and the disfigurement. If you don't like this, purchase some headgear.

I've battled the cauliflower ear battle since I was in grade 8 wrestling. Although draining it did cause the swelling to go down, every time I don't wear a headgear on the mats it comes right back. I suggest getting your ear drained if the look bothers you too much, and make sure you are always wearing your headgear when you grapple/roll. Also if you don't want to get it drained but still want the swelling to go down some people suggest just icicng your ear like you would for anything else that swells up. Truthfully I hate needles so I don't get mine drained I just wear a headgear when they really start to swell.

Also man my left ear is purple that almost looks brusied will it go back to normal?and anyone know of a headgear that wont shift around.I have a sat of matmans and dude they move and it hurts my ear like a bitch

Mine go away to a significant degree if I just try to roll lightly for a few days when it swells up. I've had 3 major swell ups, all of which have gone down very much. One left a little bit hardened up but the other two went away completley.

Mine I drained within two weeks.. It went away, until i started wrestling again, and it came right back. But since ive left it this time, the swelling went down a bit.. so its not as bad anymore..

wear a headgear to prevent it dude.
