Curios to know if there are any sambo or Catch wrestling specialist in the ufc and as far as technique goes. Which ufc has displayed techniques that are exclusive to sambo or Catch Wrestling?

Grappling arts techniques aren't really exculsive to one another. For example, you may find the same techniques in sambo and wrestling and judo, and may find the same techniques in judo and bjj and catch et cetera

That said, Khabib and Josh Barnett come to mind

Rustam Khabilovs suplexes are pure sambo.

The way he traps an arm and slams guys right in their heads

I believe Barnette is all about catch wrestling...he used to coach Megumi Fujii who was noted for her agressive and risky leg locks. Usually BJJ specialist tend to avoid leglocks for the most part as there is the risk of giving up position and also counter footlocks if youre opponent knows what theyre doing; except if your name is Palharis, Aoki, or Imanari, as well as Paul Sass who submitted Michael Johnson (who is on a roll now) with a heel hook.

I think Khabib and Khabilov have Sambo experience. Most fighters from Russia probably have some Sambo training.

And lets not forget the best HW of all time Fedor Emelienenko, even if he is retired, was fucking lethal with his Sambo and Judo grappling skills, especially earlier in his career (see Nog fights) before he abandoned his grappling later in his career in favor of looking for the one shot right hand KO (although to be fair it worked against Tim Sylvia, Arlovsky, and Bret Rogers).

I feel that Fedors abandoning of his aggressive takedowns and gnp that led to his eventual downfall.

The Diaz bros. have been doing Sambo for basically as long as they've been doing BJJ.

There are no techniques in grappling that are exclusive to Sambo or CACC. They have certain set ups and attacks that are less common in other styles but that's about it.

Sakuraba, Megumi Fujii and Barnett came from catch as catch can backgrounds

I'd say he got subbed by Werdum for being too aggressive with his gnp... soooooooo...
