So I was reminded of that beautiful throw Zingano used on Nunes, sort of a neck and shoulder roll. Absolute ragdoll. Plus it lead to a viiolent tko in the 3rd.

Any other examples of this technique? I'm surprised we don't see it more often

Jon Jones has used it a few times.
It is used in Judo quite a bit

The gi helps, of course.

its a modified "cowcatcher-to-throw", fairly common wrestling takedown several generations ago.

if you searched some "power-headlock-to-throw" and "standing-cowcatcher-to-throw", you will find thousands of variations.

Me too. I'm actually on the Sonnen side, I'm biased from oregon. However Maia has always been my favorite 170-185 lb fighter. His grappling is
truly a pleasure to witness. Still waiting for his Nelson fight to get on fight pass
