I've always been more of a dog person.

    Studies show:

    Cat people are more:

    -intelligent
    -introverted and less outgoing
    -sensitive, for better or worse
-more likely to be left leaning
-more likely to be atheist or agnostic
    -more independent thinking
    -more likely to be neurotic

    Dog people are more:

    -Outgoing, social, and friendly
    -More easygoing
-More willing to own a cat than a cat person is willing to own a dog

    Obviously these are generalizations.

But I'm not surprised about the neurotic part. My cat owner friend is pretty neurotic about things....including her pescatarian diet and animal rights activism.

    Any cat owners/lover here?

Cat people: crazy, weird and dysfunctional
Dog people: normal, good looking, intelligent

I’ve never heard a cat person be anti-dog. I feel like a lot of dog people are anti-cat though, which I always thought was strange. If you like dogs then you clearly like animals, so why wouldn’t you like cats?

I've always like both. I like a lot of mammals. I hope to have a wallaby one day

Is it weird I wanted a pet scorpion as a kid?

I have cats and probably favour them over dogs, but I have always liked dogs too. Last dog I had was a Staffy x Bullmastiff and she was the bomb.

Cats are cool - im just super allergic to them (and certain dogs too, depending on their fur)

But yeah if you've ever seen a cat pounce on a bird it's very interesting to watch..Very stealthy and hitman like in their essence, Joe <Goldie11>

Whereas dogs just go fucking kamikaze and that style is more like prime Vitor

because usually they don't give a fuck about you, whereas dogs are happy to see you everytime you come home.

*and I know a few cat people who don't like dogs, pretty sure some sherbros are like that too

I'd probably like cats more if I wasn't deathly allergic too them. I love dogs though.

I love dogs but I absolutely adore cats and I'm neurotic, sensitive, quietly atheist, and very republican.

Cats that act like dogs are the golden ticket.

Get yourselves an orange or grey tabby. My tabby-abyssinian wakes up when I do, runs up the stairs and leaps onto my shoulders for a nap.

He also lays down over my girlfriend's face when she's sleeping and tries to suffocate her.

    He's dope.

Cat people like to pretend they have pets.

I have a giant Siamese cat and he acts a lot like a dog. He will follow me around meowing and bother me to pay attention to him. He also begs for food all the time. He’s a great cat but man he does get on my nerves sometimes

No, most school shooters keep snakes or insects as pets.
