Hey ya'll rewatching the Diaz/Castillo fight right now.. Was wondering what everyone thinks concerning how a Prime JLC would do against todays crop of LW's.

    Against Juan Diaz
    Michael Katsidis
    Joel Casamayor (today)
    David Diaz

Hell, how about how Castillo would fare against a Morales/Barerra/Marquez even?

    lol.. ok

Against Juan Diaz, I think Castillo uses his superior size and strength to walk him backwards and gets him out of his game.. beating him up really bad and stopping him late.

Against Katsidis, I think Castillo survives an early storm with some pretty bad cuts to show for it before finding his rythem vs. a the constantly throwing power puncher. He would eventually time kat and ko him.

I think Castillo beats Joel all over the ring taking a land slide decision. Joel isnt what he used to be.

    same with D. Diaz

It's arguable if Castillo was able to beat Casamayor when they first fought. Prime for prime, I take Casamayor. Today? I take Castillo via late stoppage.

Glass... What is with you and all your new threads? Are you on vacation? Explain yourself, man! EXPLAIN!!!

Castillo beats all except Casamayor. I am a little reserve prime to prime, but he still has a good chance.

Juan Diaz - Diaz beats guys by a superior gas tank and always coming forward. With JLC's relentless body attack, I think he gets to Diaz and eventually stops him. Nate frustrated Diaz and slowed him down, JLC would be a whole different level. Having said that, if you're talking primes, Diaz probably isn't there yet. He's still so young, keep that in mind.

    Line: JLC - 170 Diaz +140

Katsidis would get cut bad and FUCKED UP. JLC - 270 Katsidis +190

David Diaz - totally outclassed. JLC -330 Diaz +210

Joel - Arguably lost the 1st time, his akward style always presents a problem. Prime vs Prime? I'll take JLC and preset the line at -150/+130

I would pound Castillo @ -330 vs David Diaz.

He should be -1000. Diaz would have no shot.

We need someone to make a solid Castillo highlight...and not just from his Corrales fights.
