Yeah I know Thompson is probably due a title shot next, but eventually these 2 need to meet.

It would almost certainly be an all standup fight. And I'm not sure that Carlos's Muay Thai wouldn't beat out Wonderboy's karate. How would that one go?

I've wanted to see it since Thompson first showed up. Not really sure. A great Muay Thai practitioner beats a great karate guy, but Thompson might be on another level. But I can't say that for sure. Machida looks great against brawler/wrestlers too.

Imo if Thompson gets the next title shot, no matter if he wins or loses, Condit should be his fight after that.

That would be a great fight, Carlos is another WW with an iron chin. Condit has a habit of eating shots early in fights as well so it would be exciting. This fight would get bloody and I think Condit would take a decision. Hopefully Condit doesn't retire so we can see some more great fights from him.

ID have to go with condit. More cage experience and a deeper bag of tricks.

Oh, hard to say, but I definitely don't see Condit going out as fast as Hendricks. I could see this going to a decision and I favor Wonderboy slightly in that scenario.

Condit is more experienced, but would get lit up on the feet from unorthodox angles. He has good subs, but doesn't have the offensive wrestling to get Wonderboy to the ground.

Thompson would kill Condit and it wouldn't be close.

I love condit, but he leaves his head too high and he gets himself out of position too often. Condit's defense has largely been simply having a great chin, and that just won't win the fight against someone like Wonderboy.

After that fight, hard to say Thompson loses to a striker. He looked great while he was on his defense with counters, and great when he was being agressive. You just don't know what is coming next

True, but Hendricks ain't exactly one of the best strikers in the division, either.
