Not going to post the tweet on here as I'm not sure what the rules are but it's all over twitter if you want to see it. Kind of slows down then decides to plow through people.

Probably a terror attack I would imagine but we'll see. Hope there are minimal casualties.
 
I've seen video of the attack. If there are no fatalities, it will be a fucking miracle.

There are thousands of Liverpool fans in the area, and the coppers are having a hard time stopping them from lynching the driver.

I'm impressed the coppers were able to get to them tbh. From what I heard fans had ripped the car doors off and were probably set to rip him/her apart too.

The car windows were smashed in by the enraged fans. It's a shame the police managed to get the bastard out of there before the fans got their hands on him. It would have saved the expense of a trial.
 
What's up with the police fast reaction time?

We had this event called the Hollywood Shooting where these two assholes put on bullet proof riot gear, robbed a bank, and when the police got there too quick proceeded to outgun the police with serious weaponry. It was so bad, the police had to run to a local gun store to get on par with these two assholes. I tell this story, because one guy got shot finally and they made sure he lay on the street and bled out until they allowed the ambulance crew in. There are times when a slow response is warranted.

With it being a large crowd event the police would have been there anyway in case anything got out of hand.
 
I've seen the video it's weird. He hits one person before pausing a bit then going into the crowd and stopping again, a very indecisive attack, he could've caused much more damage if he wanted

Yeah, I noticed that as well. He wasn't driving at full speed before he hit the crowd, either.

Oleg Taktarov played one of the robbers in the movie. Megadeth wrote a song about it.
 
I've seen countless footage and it seems people were getting aggressive with the guy in the car and he freaks out and just goes forward, hits a guy who goes flying and steers right into the crowd in a haze and then after running those poor people over, stops.

There is also footage of him on the floor being held down by police and then lugged into the riot van. My question is, why was his car there in the first place?
 
Counter-terror police are leading the investigation.

However, this does not mean police think it was a terrorist attack. It just means they want to rule that out as quickly as possible.
