not true. a cap kick is fast, but light weight. kinda like getting a piece of paper thrown at you really hard. it wont hurt it just looks fast. if u want to know how strong it is, throw it at a 100lb bag.
standing kicks are stronger because of the base foot. if u kick fast, the base foot braces urself. for a cap kick, you don't have this anchor so ur foot will just bounce off the target.
