Capoeira in mma?

Yes it is. It may also be a move from some other discipline but its definitely a Capoeira move.

No,.. it is a basic front kick shared by almost every striking system there is.
In order for a system to claim something like that, it needs to be a signature to that system.

Anderson's front kick was more Aikido based than anything else.

Forgot what this is called, but it is also from capoeira:

Not very common, but yes. One can incorporate capoeira moves into MMA.

Rasteria.

There was a Chute Boxe Vs Capoeira event and all the Capoeira guys got stopped by strikes in the first.

It is practiced various disciplines including Taekwondo, Wushu kung fu, Shaolinquan, Capoeira, but traditionally most associated with the Korean martial arts.

Cap sucks, and it requires too much energy.
It's impractical in every sense of the word.

You'll see a move used rarely, but no one uses it very much. I remember when Cub Swanson threw a Capoeira kick in a WEC bout and Frank Mir was commentating. Mir didn't know what the hell was going on :icon_lol: When they told him it was Capoeira he said I didn't know anyone actually used that.
