Capitalism is dangerous to society... my thoughts to fight it

all propaganda, how low are you going? dm me the pics, you're really surrounding yourself well, not arguing but spewing arguments that don't need fact cheching, becouse it's basically propaganda. And you have the audacity to tell me I'm going low, when you say the embargo of the US is not a issue to Cuban people, what a mockery.

Behold the greatness of Cuban healthcare. It’s free though right?

Maybe you should come here and get treated at one of these universal healthcare hospitals, or walk the streets a bit and ask some of the people if they’re hungry or not. Also ask them what their education means when a university diploma gets them a job which pays about $1.20 a day, about as much as the guy cleaning toilets at the local resort.

Yes I’m actually posting from Cuba, and it sounds like you’ve never been here and don’t have a clue what it’s really like or how the actual Cubans are living. Easy to be a champagne Marxist and bash capitalism from your Mac book while sipping on your pumpkin latte at starbucks.
your English is great! how's the education may I ask again, or you got home schooled?

"Everyone who disagrees is a racist/nazi/bigot/other."
I thought it was an ironic statement to make considering who the picture was of. I thought maybe there was something at play that I wasn't aware of. Guess not.

a mix doesn't need a terminology, I'm not extreme as you may think, but capitalism root is rotten. And a system based on this model will crash us all. gaining counscious is a good thing.
I never said you were extreme. You're on the defensive for no reason.
A flexible system has made my country the super power that it is. I simply have no complaints. I don't mind "elements of socialism" but I'm not willing to totally adopt an ideology that has ruined every country its been attempted.

Let's make a deal, address the embargo I will entertain commenting this pictures with a blind shot, as it's all it shows. it can be anywhere.

Living in Canada for 25 years tends to improve one’s English.
{<hhh]

Now back to the topic, find me a regular Cuban citizen who would stay here rather than joining the evil capitalism you describe, I’ll wait.

There’s no helping you understand anything man, I think you’re the worst fake communist troll we have here and we have many. Simple question for you though: would you renounce your citizenship and live in Cuba? Simple yes or no would do

This is the greatest time in history to be alive. Ten years from now will be better. Ten years from then will be even better...

My father turns 85 this year. Think of the amazing things he's seen. A capitalist system made that happen.

Like Churchill said about Democracy, Capitalism is the worst economic system...except for all the others.

Yup, it’s amazing that in 2020 this conversation is still happening. That’s what happens when people have it too good for too long and have never lived in a socialist system to appreciate how much better capitalism is in comparison.

I hope you’re right and it will keep getting better, but with so many clueless over privileged idiots out there willing to tear down what we’ve built, unfortunately this cycle might continue.

Socialism doesn't work and i'm sure the pussified democratic socialism version Bernie practices won't work either. Capitalism isn't perfect but it is the best option to date with a couple of centuries of proof to back it up.
If you don't like it, that's fine, but social democracy has been working in Europe for decades.

Even though I am planning on voting for him Bernie is not a real threat to capital

The reality is his proposals if enacted would normalize the petty bourgeoisie condition, but it doesnt get to the root of capitalism's warwardness. Which is that of always accumulating and thus the distribution problem never gets solved via redistribution

There is no such system in the natural world whose model is to always accumulate except black holes...and capitalism.

I truly feel sorry for people on a deep human level who cheer on its wickedness. Reading basic critiques of it shakes anyone of their delusions, but few actually ever do the reading. So it goes...

Give us a better alternative.

after the destruction of europe and asia, and the industrialization of the 3rd world, social democracy flourished because so much capital depreciation and loss of human life allowed accumulation to rapidly occur again even with these regulations. but there is a reason these “social safety nets” are nearly unanimously degrading around the world, and it isn’t due to the ideas of the neoliberals, or centrists, etc

Give us a better alternative.
Even if this were the best we could do shouldn't we be honest about its downsides? Just look up basic capitalism critiques.

Or just worship at the altar of people like this it's no sweat off my back

stick to Trump threads, you actually doing me a favor by shifting the narrative of me being the bad commie, and make it left vs right, I appreciate that. but I want a organic move from the discussion. sorry for the rudeness seano.
We have fun here.

Then why is the left not talking about ways to improve capitalism instead of trying to bring in a system that’s failed miserably everywhere it’s ever been tried?

I didn't read the OP as the title is pure potato, but here's a few thoughts...

Yes, it can be dangerous, but dangerous freedoms are the ones worth having.

It's less dangerous than other systems.

Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system.

You can't fight peoples tendency towards being free to do as they want.
