Can't wait for DDP vs Whittaker

Not missing anything lol .

Almost all of his UFC victory's are basically baffling and he wins through sheer will and a second wind more then any other fighter I've seen at this level o_O.

Yep, barring disaster (anything can happen) Rob destroys him. The only thing working for DDP is Rob hasn't been finishing fights lately and is hittable on his entries, if DDP is blessed by the gods maybe he can pull something out of the depths of hell (doubtful)
 
I love Rob and believe he’ll win but I don’t think it’ll be as easy as everyone thinks. But I think Rob gets it done by KO/TKO in the 3rd
 
This will seal whether DDP earns his titleshot or gets sent to the back. People here act like Whittaker is some unstoppable force but he's played it safe since losing the title.

Yeah I thought he decided to go to cruise control instead of finish. To me, Cannonier looked like he was trying to finish compared to Whittaker. I'll have to rewatch again, but Whittaker seemed comfortable outstriking and never pushed it to go for the finish.
 
I’m less concerned for Rob in this fight than he is. But I’m glad he’s not taking DDP lightly.
 
Poirier fighting this weekend? He moved up to 185? Wtf? I thought he was fighting g Justin.
 
Well you only have to wait 2 more days.
 
P.S. I can't wait for the stale trilogy that is Whitaker vs Adesanya.
 
Pretty sure Whitaker will show him angles, feints and rhythm he has never seen against him on a UFC card.
But it will be fun, DDP can take some shots.

The corpse of Darren Till landed at will on him, easily would've won if he had any tdd in that fight. So weird.

You're misremembering, Whittaker had Cannonier hurt badly and almost put him away but he somehow survived. Knucks also threw everything but the kitchen sink at Vettori but one doesn't simply finish Marvin.

A lot of people complain but really when you look back the only guy he didn't finish and probably should've was Till.

The guys he's struggled to finish going back to the Yoel fights are all pretty hard to finish though.

Across 33 combined losses those guys have been finished with strikes 4 times, and none of those instances happened at MW - Till got KO'd at WW, Jared at LHW and HW, and Romero at LHW.
