Can't see how McG beats Diaz

I'm a McG fan. I'm pulling for McG. I just don't know how he'll pull it off.

Let's be real here. Conor's best weapons are his hands attributed to his boxing history. He has unique kicks as well for backing up the opponent and getting them against the cage where he thrives.

Diaz trains with way better boxers than Conor could've hoped to have been. He's also taller, rangier, better cardio with an iron chin and won't back up from conor's kicks.

So if they both go and box it out, given diaz's history of never losing a fight he wasn't wrestle-fucked, can Conor really use just hands to out-do diaz? He was getting hit a lot by mendes!

Furthermore Conor can't go to the ground and finish Nate or use it to set up his stand up. Nate's BJJ is far better than those Conor has previously faced. Go watch the brendao fight and see Conor use the cage on several occasions to stay inb an advanced position or escape a sub. Nate will wrap him up on the ground.

As a McG fan this fight worries me. I respect the Diaz brother's abilities even if they don't always win fights.

If Nate is anything like his brother then Conor can just circle around and counter punch all day, though he is going to have trouble with the range I will give you that. But Conor is a crazy good counter fighter, people don't seem to realize that because he presses forward a lot in his fights and then baits punches.

Leg kick to punch combo while Diaz is off balance would be good for Conor to use.

Conor hits really hard, is really fast, has insane timing and reflexes, and is very accurate. He is a far better athlete than Nate, has an iron chin himself, an iron will, and is the better striker, boxing included. His fight IQ also seems very high. He has had a full camp. I think Nate can def get some licks in standing, but Nate doesnt have a whole lot of power. If Nate can get Conor to the mat, he can definitely win. But if this fight stays standing, you gotta think that Conor is gonna win.

Mcgregor is not a better boxer IMO,he hits harder but does not box better.

How is he not a better boxer? He has better footwork, better timing, better understanding of distance, better shot selection, better head movement, etc
