Can't post images?

I cannot seem to post an image even after following the info in the FAQ. I signed up and opened a photobucket account, tried to link to the URL containing my image and it still shows up as a little 'x' on the screen. When looking at a thread, at the bottom of the page it shows the following under Posting Rules:

Can anyone give me a little information on this? I am wondering why it states I cannot post attachments - or if this is even the problem....

Make sure the URL you are putting between the image tags is the direct link to the picture mate. IMG tags are disabled in the support forum.

If I paste the url I have between my image tags into a web browser it links to a page displaying only the picture....but it is still showing up as just a link....

You won't get it to work in this forum even if you are doing it right.

Wow...finally got it. I usually read posts, but have never bothered to post much myself though I may more now that I can post some photoshop!

i havent been able to post from my photo album for months.

Yes, when i open my album the pictures are are blacked out. They are there, but i cant see them or post them. My album cover also doesnt appear. Thanks for your help btw. I think youre the only one that gave a rip.
