Can't Jones/Mendes/Brock just fight internationally if they're suspended?

I mean what's stopping them. Couldn't they fight in Brazil, Japan, or Russia? USADA and NSAC doesn't own the world. Couldn't one of these fighters just "retire" from the UFC and then go fight somewhere else until their suspensions are lifted? It only makes sense and it's not like the UFC won't allow them back after the suspension.

I know Brock is a different case because he's 39 and will be 41 when the suspensions over and he came back because the UFC could pay him that huge purse he won't want to fight in some random shit organization. But could you imagine a card with Brock, Jones, and Mendes on the main card for say $30. I'd pay for that card even if they were fighting nobodies.

They're still under contract with the UFC though. And also I think if they fight while under suspension they get a lifetime suspension from NSAC.

Contracts, and i believe since they are american citizens and actually live in the US they could get fined by the NSAC afaik, well Brock feels like a Canadian this days.....

UFC has them under contract. They technically could, but would breach their UFC contract almost guaranteeing them to be slapped with a law suit. And if the UFC tries to use them outside of the us sanctioning bodies, the UFC faces potentially not being sanctioned by certain commissions for their trouble. End of the day, not worth. They're just gonna have to sit on their hands for a while.

They could, if the UFC releases them from their contracts (like Cro Cop) and if they are willing to accept the possibility of being told off by the American AC's if they return.

its not only the fact that they're under a contract it's also the fact why would you leave the biggest MMA company in the world?

I don't why people care if brock tested positive or not. His fight with hunt was a one deal thing. That's it...

No.

They're both American. Even if Brock lives in Canada now, he works in the USA and has assets in the USA and can can suffer consequences from a lawsuit in the USA. Fighting anywhere else is violating their UFC contracts (assuming Brock is still bound by contract) and so they'd be liable for a lawsuit if they decided to fight abroad. If Jones values the money he has and would like to continue living well while he's out for 2 years, it would be a really good idea to just sit out those 2 years or get released from the UFC contract (which is absolutely not going to happen).

Don't you know how a contract works? Dumbass.

Shady as the UFC is there has to be a loophole. Someone should be investigating who exactly knew Brock was dirty. I believe Dana knew and let him fight anyway.

No, but it brings up a very goo point: Brock vs Carwin II needs to happen, and it needs to happen on international waters. We need to see the real end of that chapter without any, ahem, restrictions.

Brock probably could since he had a 1 fight deal. But it'd be hard for him to get sanctioned in the US ever again.

Yes, they can and they should because USADA and the athletic commissions don't run the entire world THANK GOD!.

But the problem is the UFC not letting them out of their contracts. Which they should or at least allow them to fight.

ARE YOU FOR REAL? Him asking that question would indicate he obviously DOESNT! Now go back to your basement and call your imaginary friends "dumbass" instead

If they "retire" with fights still on their UFC contract they can't fight anywhere else unless they want the UFC to sue the crap out of them

Normally it's the person in the basement who's the first to bring it up, so is it comfy?

TS did you mean break contract with UFC and fight for another organization or were you asking if they could fight on the international UFC cards?
