Can't fall asleep

When working out late, and being wound up before bed time, I've had good luck using time release melatonin, a darkened room, and sometimes will take a small amount of magnesium.

Also of late I've been grounding myself during the day and now at night while I sleep. It has helped with the quality of my sleep and relieving aches and pains. When I first heard of grounding/earthing thought it unusual to say the least, but after trying can say it works for me, and now the family too.

Some info on it - a new documentary is coming out on grounding.

IMHO there's definitely something in manipulating the body's electrical potential (crazy as it may sound). These are specifically designed to support restful sleep:

eat some protein to reduce cortisol. Phosphatidylserine might help as well.

Before going to the bed it is good to drink milk. I think it works. Exercise in the morning and yoga both exercises are also good to keep mind fresh and these exercises help in sleeping.
