Hah, they didnt even let Canelo answer the question. How terrible does that make him and GBP look. Even if he weighs in with close, hes 170, the same weight that Golovkin weighs on fight night. Plus the dude is the MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION! If doesnt feel like hes a middleweight & doesnt want to fight people at middleweight then he should drop the title!
 
I don't really care about his weight. The discussion is tiresome.

I'd just like to discuss Canelo without every other post being "he's the MIDDLEWEIGHT champion!" as though people don't get that he's been fighting at MW this whole time.
 
The excuses are getting put in place and the fight wont happen.
 
What he says means shit since him and GBP have a standing rule not to let him do the unofficial weigh-in on fight night. If he wants to prove people wrong then he easily can otherwise he should shut up about it.

Yeah probably not.

Canelo isn't going to drop any belts because fans don't like his decisions. He's not going to just give up the MW championship because people would rather he was fighting someone else.
 
This could be a great fight if Khan can handle the power.

You can search for the Canelo Josesito Lopez fight & see that Seano was vehemently against Canelo fighting a smaller man on that occasion, but now he loves the Canelo vs Khan fight even though it's the same thing. So what changed?

Well Seano is a Floyd nuthugger to the core. So after Floyd beat Canelo, he saw that if you diminish Canelo in anyway it will take away from Floyds win & overall legacy. So everything Canelo does from now on will be cheered by Seano (even if he takes easy fights & fights at catchweights) because it's all a testament to Floyds greatness. So for Canelo to be considered lineal champ & defend his belt many times in a big deal to Seano cause it all makes Floyd look that much better. In that regard any criticism of Canelo can be seen as criticism of Floyd to him & that's why he interjected himself into this thread.

Khan actually has some decent wins and better competition at welter than Lopez.
 
Oscar just said size doesn't matter pertaining to the upcoming fight against Khan. He said its all about skill. As long as his fighter has a weight advantage, weight and size do not matter.
Oscar should be a political speech writer for Donald Trump.
