What weight

GGG should grow a pair and move up in weight like Canelo has...instead of sitting in a weak division his entire career and calling out smaller fighters. GGG's overrated AF. He doesn't deserve another Canelo fight.

Thats hyperbole nonsense.

Thats hyperbole nonsense.

Which part? GGG has sat at 160lbs calling out/fighting much smaller guys like Floyd, Kell Brook and Canelo for years. Why didn't he call out the likes of Andre Ward or Kovalev?

GGG has no elite wins on his resume. Maybe try posting some actual facts instead of a worthless "hyperbole" statement like that backed by zero facts.

Canelo is too juiced, too strong.

Oldovkin gets paintbrushed in my view.

Not going to dive into the fanboy thing, but I do think it has been totally buried how many people predicted/expected Canelo to get smoked when they first fought.
it's been totally memory holed.

Golovkin was a natural MW and he shouldn't be expected to campaign above his natural weight. He had a HoF career, as is.

With the way Golovkin looked in his last fight, Canelo will be a huge favorite.

Jacobs is an elite win. If it counts for Canelo it certainly counts for GGG who beat him first and 2 years earlier.

Canelo being "smaller" lol, just because you cut massive weight to avoid a division doesn't mean you're smaller. No one is calling Tank Davis the smaller fighter of anyone he faces against at 135.

He actually did call out Andre Ward and the two had a meeting with HBO about it but Ward made up some excuse during his inactivity to not have the bout. And the Kovalev thing, not sure where they stood seeing as they sparred a lot together.

And despite not fighting him, you may as well put a prime Sergio Martinez on GGG's record because they've been on record saying they wanted no part of him and blatantly ducked him for years, even though neither were big money fighters at the time.

Golovkin retires in style by KOing Canelo.

Just a small point which has nothing to do with your bigger point. I think Davis will be outsized by certain fighters at LW. He misses weight because he has no discipline, not because he's particularly big for SFW.

That is complete BS about Ward. Golovkin said any and everyone to 168, Ward said he was in and Golovkin went silent (wisely). Ward would have kicked his ass so I dont blame him.

It was a straight business decision. Nobody outside of Oakland cases about Ward.
That's why they wanted to fight Carl Froch, who was a mega star in the UK.

Then why has Ward never publicly denied that he turned down the fight when discussed in that HBO meeting? And he’s been asked about it and always avoids it

It was also a business decision because getting your ass beaten is bad for your brand.

He never turned down the fight. Golovkin talked a bunch of shit about fighting anyone to 168, Ward responded that he was in multiple times on multiple platforms, and Golovkin avoided him entirely. This is a fact.

For the record, i dont care or blame GGG for not taking the Ward fight. I dont expect anyone to fight outside of their class, and Golovkin would have gotten smoked.

But dont try to blame the party that was happy to oblige and the guy who went on to fight bigger and more dangerous opponents.

He's [Ward] been out of the ring for a while and the economics just don't add up now. Gennady has said that he would move out of the middleweight division - if it's a big fight. Andre is certainly a great champion, it's just the chemistry is not there yet for a pay-per-view fight. It's nothing against Andre or Gennady, it's just neither one of them has been on pay-per-view.

Did you read the quote you just posted? Golovkin said he would move up if its a big fight. Just like he was willing to move down to 154 to fight Floyd. But they didn't look at Ward as a big money fight,... It would have done poor on PPV.

It's not nothing to do with fear of getting beaten. Don't embarrass yourself.

Then why did Golovkin and Sanchez directly say over and over they wanted Ward? Then when Ward obliged all of a sudden Ward wasnt worthy.

The only one embarrassed is the camp that blatantly ducked someone after running their mouths. They wanted “mega fights” with washed up Froch or JCC lmao.

Golovkin / Sanchez ≠ Golovkins management

Ward said that he confronted Tom Loeffler about the situation when he saw him at a boxing event.

Thank god Golovkin doesn't speak good english... In that case Ward may have attempted to confront the man himself, and Golovkin would have possibly knocked out Ward on the spot.

1. GGG is not big for MW
2. LOL at Caleno being a "smaller guy"
3. Why would GGG duck a Kovalev when he would destroy or drop him when they trained together? Per their former mutual trainer who has sour grapes against both of them.
