the arguable top 3 P4P
rate their resumes from best to worst?
Canelo by a mile, followed distantly by Lomachenko then Crawford.
Crawford really has no business being on any P4P list. His resume is shit.
Anyone not saying canelo is either a pure bias hater or an idiot it’s not even close or a discussion canelo had a better resume at 25 than most of those fighters let alone now
Get Crawford's dirty name away from Canelo and Loma.
Try and say out loud Bud's last opponent's name.
Canelo followed by daylight.
Canelo, Usyk not Loma and probably Inoue 3rd
Usyk's resume is good?
Are you a kid?
It's very frustrating to see somebody who obviously doesn't follow boxing at all make multiple threads a day just to ask dumb questions or share stupid assessments.
If you're genuinely interested in boxing, educate yourself with Google and Youtube before starting dozens of threads.
And please no not make a new thread called "Is Usyk's resume good?"
Btw, the answer is yes.
Jesus christ shut the fuck up
Why not? Usyk was world class amateur superstar.
If we compare amateur accomplishments, Loma and Usyk are higher than Canelo.
Yes, I know that prizefighters fans admit only results in prizefighting etc.
Not in all countries pro boxing is considered as way out of poverty due to initial expenses/ reward difference rarerly poor people are able to turn into decent pro at all.
Unless they are former state / sponsored/ backed amateur superstar that everyone want to sign up etc.
Or do have financial support from relatives, parents, friends, sponsors.
Mexico might be different cos different expenses and also ppl earlier turn in pro that not in all countries is allowed at all.
Some countries allow to be a pro from 18, 19 or 21 y.o etc.
Loma for example is rare former amateur superstar.
achievments in adult division are impressive.
2X Olympic Gold. rarity….
2X Gold. Amateurs World Championships.
1X Gold. Amateurs European Championships.
1X Silver. Amateurs World Championships.
You rank pros by what they did as pros.
Better than Crawfords.
It is but not by that much....Crawford was undisputed too.
Usyk's worst pro opponent was in his last fight however. He never faced total bums.
His last worst opponent was CW Briedis because this walked on his foot all 12 rounds, even wasn't down even once and lost by points on cards.
Plus Glowacki despite also like Briedis is smaller than Usyk, was able to walk all rounds on his feets against Usyk...
HW Whiterspoon despite really considerably !!!!larger than all these CW guys, didn't managed to keep on his feet all scheduled bout rounds………...
There at least aren't questions that at minimum 2 current CW guys were considerably more difficult opponents for Usyk than Whiterspoon.
Because this HW boxer didn't competed with Usyk all scheduled rounds till end.
Facts are facts.
There's a difference between how a fight goes and quality of opponent.
You can have a tough night against a mediocre fighter like Witherspoon...i mean the guy isn't even active. You think he's better than 2 of the top cruiserweights? That's absurd....Usyk had full camps to prepare for them, Chazz was a late replacement.
There's a lot more to it.
No, of course.
Because this HW gentleman was with short notice at first.
To watch possible blows from Briedis and Glowacki ( I think that Glowacki too is able KO even 247-255 lber that is highly athletic with 1 punch like Briedis did it ) , and these Tabiti and Dorticos too if really properly landed are able to handle serious concussion even on 247 - 255 lb er …..with single blow.
Not easy task, I agree. Even if with 3 or 6 months notice.
Yeah Gassiev hits fairly hard too. Witherspoon probably isnt even top 5 hardest punchers he's faced as pro and you could tell Chazz wasn't active
Some said Usyk had a hurt shoulder, my eyes told me he just simply wasn't putting his foot on the gas until the end. I really don't think that guy challenged him in any way shape or form
He cleaned out an entire division.
All the top guys in it
Yes, if properly landed, not worse than these other 4 guys.
sorry, not all boxing followers worship only No1 guy etc.
This Usyk " cleaned " in such a way: AJ first loss to Ruiz and Wilder loss to Fury were more clean than Usyk wins against Briedis or Glowacki.
I wish to see Dorticos vs Tabiti No2 !
