Golovkin wont beat Canelo.
Of course he wont since Canelo will probably vacate .
Golovkin wont beat Canelo.
" Solis claims he was simply outsized in the fight -- with Canelo coming in a 5'9", 160 lbs and Solis at 5'3", 108 lbs. "
Why is it a bad matchup for him? Bad matchups for Canelo are guys with elite footwork and defense. You think someone who will stand directly in front of him is bad matchup?

He can beat Canelo, sure. Dont think he will.

Canelo has fast hands but can be hit due to his stance and movement . Great combos and sound Iq
GGG hits hard moves well and has a lethal jab which Canelo is very susceptible to it
Also if Canelo is hurt he doesn't seem he is willing to tie up instead just fight it out which will be a big mistake against a bigger puncher
And Golovkin's chin is wide open, as is his body. Let Canelo tee off like others have and see how that works out.

Yeah, but we saw what happened when Golovkin decided not to be hit. GGG landed over 50% of his punches and Lemieux only landed 27%.
GGG wouldn't let Canelo tee off, and Canelo wouldn't let GGG tee off. It'd end up being a heavy-handed boxing match, not a slugfest.
Ya, Canelo has a rich history of ducking guys right. Mayweather, Lara, Cotto.
No , but he has made it clear that he wont be moving up to 160 anytime soon and Golovkin wont entertain the idea of a catchweight , so the fight will probably not happen .
Also, nobody in their right mind would duck big money fights like Cotto and Mayweather , his two biggest paydays to date . Lara and Trout were huge risks though .
I don't even think he can physically make the weight .
Somebody on boxingscene posted some weight stats from his amateur days , and the last time he weighed around 155 was in 2001 .
Yet he said hed fight at 154?

GGG shouldn't have to and fuck Canelo if he demands Golovkin shrink down to GGG. I get that they probably don't want Canelos first fight at 160 to be with Golovkin but he has the lineal title and GGG has waited long enough.
