In 2020, two Canadian women were the victims of false accusations of racism based on the rantings of a single individual on Twitter. As a result of that individual, both women lost their jobs.

It turns out the accusations were completely false and invented. The accusations were based entirely on a single screenshot from a much longer video posted to Snapchat which no longer exists. The women have now been awarded $100,000 in damages, which they will never collect, because the person behind the defamation campaign has no money.

Not surprisingly, zero Canadian media outlets have yet to retract their original stories.

Fucking scary....

Maybe these women should sue the news companies like that kid did from the DC Video. Go after the companies who aided and abated in ruining their lives without doing an ounce of research.

Solit Isak started the campaign against these innocent people. Solit Needs to be shamed.

There is too much credence being given to vocal woke Twitter users and this story is a perfect example. This girl had a video of her sister and her boyfriend play fighting. At one point, he was kneeling on her and that is the screen shot this Twitter user used to contact her employer and get her fired? They don't say anything about George Floyd in the video at all. Here are some alarming quotes from this asswipe Twitter user:

Well, who is 20, said he contacted the franchise after seeing screenshots of the video which was originally posted on Snapchat. It depicted a woman, identified as Shania’s sister, lying facedown on a carpeted floor with a man’s hands and knee on her back.

“When I first saw it I felt angry,” said Well, who is Black. “I wasn’t very surprised because we’ve come to know there are people on the internet who choose to do these things.”

Well said he didn’t feel rage, but more of “just a hurt feeling” on seeing what he believed was an “imitation of how the police officer knelt on George Floyd.”

So, even though he didn't know for sure, he still called the girl's job to have her fired??

Then....
Well, who is in his third year of biomedical science at the University of Ottawa, messaged BP Orleans: “I would take action quickly so her ignorance does not tarnish your reputation. We will be watching and waiting for your reply and action on this matter.”

So the company shouldn't even take the time to investigate, huh? Just fire her right away? "Ignorance" indeed.

This girl apologized anyways, which was stupid. Despite this, this little douchebag wasn't satisfied
“She did take responsibility for posting it, but she didn’t take responsibility for her full actions,” said Well, who felt she would have been better served if she “just admitted to what she did.”

“That’s not something to joke about, especially in today’s society and with everything that’s going on,” he said.

Well never asked BP Orleans to fire Shania, but he says that when they responded within a couple of hours to say she had been let go, he immediately felt a sense of relief.

“Whatever tension, whatever anger I was feeling, that was my resolution,” said Well.

This is why giving "wokeness" any serious thought is a waste of time. These people are insane and do not care about the lives they ruin with their false accusations. This Twitter user sounds like he's either a racist himself, is paranoid, or he went out looking for a story to be offended by so he could get attention. Way too much of that shit going around. I hope his paychecks are cut in half for the next 25 years as he pays what the girl was rewarded. It kinda sucks that he can't do some jail time too.

Good, great to hear now take it FURTHER. Follow every single legal pathway possible - fuck the costs, you will win every single one of them anyway. Every single one of them.

Clownworld needs to be ground to a halt, full stop.

That's the worst part. This "Well" person wasn't even the one who was sued.

The girls are unlikely to recover a penny out of this. But at least they've been vindicated by the court.

Canadian media will stay quiet on this

Just like they did over slavery and the genocide of natives

It’s really powerful this is why you see fake racist hoax after hoax.. the FBI investigated a rope in a NASCAR garage lol ..
The rope incident was never proven as fake. And it did look like a noose.

if you dont know by now, the SJWs & LGBTQ is the majority on the Internet

As others have said, sue the media that reported the story without verification. Sue em into Bolivia!

Seriously though, they're more culpable than whoever made the accusation. Hopefully someone will bring a suit and win a decision on the level of too hot McDonald's coffee settlement. Irresponsible media must be held accountable for the damage they're causing society.

[1] On May 30, 2020, Justine Lavallee, Shania Lavallee, and Gilmour Driscoll-Maurice (Shania’s boyfriend) were play fighting. Shania took a short video (15-20 seconds in length) of Justine and Gilmour wrestling and horsing around (the “Video”).
