Can you Think of Another time Where the Public Seems Scared for the Champion?

It seems like most people in the media are scared for Stipe because he has to fight Ngannou. I can't remember the last time it seemed like people were so confident in someone's abilities that they are almost scared for the other person. Joe Rogan held a podcast with Stipe and he couldn't stop himself from boasting about how scary Ngannou is. To Stipe's credit he seems unfazed by it which I think could be a big difference. Ngannou's best wins are against Arlovski and Overeem, both who tend to be defeated mentally sometimes. I want Stipe to win but after seeing Ngannou rag doll Anthony Hamilton into a kimurra with his back against the fence it seemed like he was different from the rest.

Everyone was watching the Reem fight to see if Francis was legit, and then Francis just deaded him. So he is full hype. Stipe definitely could go out and destroy Francis, but there is no denying the dude is scary.

Pretty much all of the heavyweights are a shell of their former self, besides Reem just recently fought Stipe and came incredibly close to winning. So not sure how that doesn't make him an elite heavyweight.

50/50 fight IMO. Stipe will be the cleaner striker and if he can establish himself and then start working yes I think he can do it. On the other hand stipe doesn't seem to mins getting hit and if you take a good shot from Francis you'e going down... I favor stipe lightly if I were to bet, if odds continue to spread in Francis' favor may be worth a wager.
