the difference is not so much how taller Luke is from Chris.
But how many times he fought someone taller than him?

Right, but the comparison is to other guys he's fought, not to himself. Gus' height was a problem for Jones, even though Jones has a longer reach than Gus. Anderson's pretty tall and fights fairly long and it wasn't much of a problem.
