i simply stated the observation. we know he's a duck we know he ain't fighting yet we keep talking about it
when there should be other interesting matchups being made

His only "loss" was when he beat the fuck out of a guy too violently for the sport to allow.

Now that he likely beat Tom , ppl pivot to Reyes and Santos. Santos lost. Reyes was very close, but JJ outlasted him and won fairly. With Gus, even with his mouth burst and his eyes bleeding, he managed to remain calm and get a huge spinning elbow and shift the momentum, plus he dominated the rematch. I mean, he has done disgraceful things, but in MMA, he has accomplished more than anyone to the point it is almost like a tale ....

It's a sign of the UFC being kind of boring lately. The last card was a real downer.

It will slow down a week or two after he's stripped, or accepted the fight (unlikely), or when it's time for Ilia vs Charles, and Dricus vs Khamzat.

I wish there was some really exciting HW-prospect UFC could sign in the meantime.

Aspinall vs Ngannou would make us forget about Jones.
