We know UFC will probably not cut Jones and let him go to Bellator. So can they keep him on contract but sue him for all the money they spent on promotion and what they lose on refunded tickets and lost revenue?

I fucking hope so. Bankrupt this goof while he's in prison.

Why would they do that? It's a part of the game to promote fights that may or may not be pulled at the last minute. It's a calculated risk. It sucks for sure, but it's a part of the business.

Imagine the backlash they'd face if they did that..

They won't, but wouldn't that be nice...

It's just business as usual. Jones could have injured himself days before the fight and the UFC wouldn't be able to sue him. He's an independent contractor.

Why should the UFC sue a PEDs user when they like to sign horsemeat eaters?

I wish..................

Who the heck will refund their tickets lol.

Brocktober in July you crazy!

UFC should not forgive Jon he's been forgiven too many times..

As many of u sherdoggers i was looking forward to see JJ fight without blaming him too much about his past action, but now is too much.. JJ carreer should end here.
There is no way the guy can get back on track.

I d deserve to get sue

Dumb post, even if they could why would they sue the most dominant fighter in UFC history, despite his troubles. BTW I hate jones but it's the reality of the situation.

Nope the promotion side is what the ufc get their share of the pie for

Why would there be backlash? Idiots like Jones and Conor are bad for the sport. Jones has been given tremendous amounts of chances to redeem himself and continues to spit on the faces of his fans, and Conor "The diva" Mcgregor for being a scared spoiled brat claiming he isn't getting paid enough when he's the highest paid UFC fighter. If two of the UFC's biggest stars are dumb enough to throw away arguably the biggest PPV to date that many current UFC fighters would dream to get on the card then what does that say about their motivation being a fighter? Please for the love of god throw out the trash. I'm sick of fighters getting famous and then deciding they'll fight once maybe TWICE a year at best and pull out of 50% of their fights.

He'll fight for the belt soon. Won't take long

Would rather see the UFC sue USADA.
