As I was wild punching and someone stands and cross blocks and I hit the other guys elbows so after a few punches, my armswas red.

Then I felt a biggish lump and that was on friday, yesterday it went down and left a black, purple bruise and it is still there today.

Would my inside forearm get used to this or not and not get bruises or lumps

Maybe, but why the hell would you? Stop punching wild. Pick a target, keep your eyes on it and punch at it....straight. Not loopy. You wont get cross blocked if you do that. In fact, whatever martial art school you're attending, please stop.

no it wasn't in martial arts, it was crappy police training

It frightens me if they are teaching the police to X-block attacks from crazy civilians...

Yeah... anyways I am pretty sure you can condition most of your limbs.

just like shin conditioning, make enough contact and it'll get stronger. but dont go hitting steel with your forearm. just something softer than bone.

There are several ways I can think of to condition your forearms. most of them i've done sometime

1.hammerfisting a wall bag
2.boxing the hand drills(my unique drill of trying to hammerfist each other's arms and find openings while knocking arms out of the way).
3.breakfalls on hard surface(either by yourself or getting thrown)
4.clashing middle blocks with someone(both ppl middle block inside and outside and make hard contact).
5.just keep blocking the way you are
6.hit bags with them(careful with the ridge hand as you can hurt your elbow).

I do muay thai and BJJ but our police instructor who think Krav Maga is the best told us to do it but fuck him, I know what I would use in the streets

Krav Maga is a good SD system actually. I don't think I know what kind of cross block you're talking about because the one I'm thinking of is not something I have seen in KM.
