So far, no one has been able to stop his takedowns. No reason to believe Conor is any different

He had 21 TDs against Trujillo. Trujillo is terrible in the ground and still was able to get back up.

Trujillo absolutely dwarfed Khabib in size and he isn't terrible on the ground, he just isn't elite, just because he loses on the ground doesn't mean he is terrible on the ground. Besides, Trujillo's wrestling is much better than his BJJ.

When was the last time Khabib attempted a take down in the UFC?
What are the odds that Khabib returns to the same level he was last fighting at?
People act like Khabib is the uncrowned champion at LW, but there are an awful lot of unanswered questions about his future. The guy has spent more time under the knife, out of shape, and contemplating retirement than training/fighting snice we last saw him in action.
I would love to be wrong, but I don't like Khabib's odds of returning to and maintaining his peak form.

If done right, no can defend...

You can't expect the guy to work from the top at a high pace and be amazing at keeping guys usually bigger than him pinned down at the same time.

Most guys who are great at keeping guys down usually aren't the most active either minus a small number of exceptions.

Conor will have a 10 inch reach advantage. That's a massive distance to close. Khabib is legit though.
