I really don't see the point of an Askren vs GSP fight at this point. Most people would consider it boring no matter when it happened, but at least they should fight around GSP's prime.

If they are on an even playing field the answer is yes. In other words if both are NOT on PEDs or the opposite my money would be on Askren. I believe Askren to be anywhere from #1 to #4. Hopefully we find out. The UFC is in need of new blood. Askren has the gift of gab to promote any fight he's in.

He actually made more fighting overseas, then he was being offered by the UFC, and in the end, was making more then some of the Champs in the UFC. "Scrubs"? Khabib would be a great fight, but not as great as Tyrone. Let's unpack this fight between Ben and Tyrone.

Tyrone is a steroid-ed out "victim of racism", action figure, power house welterweight champion.

Ben is a great fighter, and I believe he could beat Tryone. But most fans don't know who he is, and when they see him they don't believe what they've been told. White guy with a jew-fro that doesn't look like much, but is very dominant.

Imagine casual fans tuning into what they think is a random fan from the stands, full mounting Tyrone for 5 rounds.

And to think, even for a moment that may never happen...
